Tour Plan

Day 1: Scenic Drive to Pattale Beginning of the Journey
  • Activity: Depart Kathmandu for a scenic drive to Pattale. Enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside and terraced fields along the way.
  • Distance/Duration: Full day of driving.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse in Pattale.
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 2: Trek to Jhapre Trek
  • Activity: Witness sunrise views at Pattale before starting your trek towards Jhapre. Admire the vistas of the Numbur Himalayan Range. Explore Jhapre village and visit the local Gompa.
  • Distance/Duration: 5-6 hours of trekking.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse in Jhapre.
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3: Trek to Pikey Peak Base Camp Trek
  • Activity: Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Peak Base Camp, passing through rhododendron forests and small villages. Visit the Yak Cheese Factory and enjoy panoramic mountain views.
  • Distance/Duration: 6-7 hours of trekking.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse at Pikey Peak Base Camp.
  • Meals Included: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4: Pikey Peak Summit & Trek to Junbesi Trek
  • Activity: Early morning trek to Pikey Peak summit for sunrise views. Marvel at the panoramic views of Mount Everest and other peaks. Descend to Junbesi via Lamjura La.
  • Distance/Duration: 7-8 hours of trekking.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse in Junbesi.

Day 5: Hike Around Junbesi and Visit Thuptenchholing Gompa Exploration
  • Activity: Explore Junbesi village and its surroundings. Visit Thuptenchholing Gompa, a 19th-century monastery. Return to Junbesi for an overnight stay.
  • Distance/Duration: Full day of exploration.
  • Accommodation: Teahouse in Junbesi.

Day 6: Trek to Salleri/Phaplu Trek
  • Activity: Trek to Salleri or Phaplu, depending on the chosen route. Enjoy the scenic views along the trail.
